CEO
The founder of Canopy Security Solutions has worked over 20 years in the industry in a variety of settings and roles. His versatility and operational “know-how” provide Canopy’s leadership with a unique in-depth perspective on both operational excellence and client safety.
His experience as a Federal contractor developed his knowledge and passion for Security, as he worked alongside multiple agencies including the DEA and FBI.
He spent several years as an officer in a Super Max prison facility, while safeguarding some of the most violent detainees and stateside terrorist. During his tenure, he served as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and spent majority of his time in the special housing unit (SHU).
He has served in numerous details providing executive protection (EP) for wealthy businessmen and their families, specifically in situations where clients had been identified as known targets to serious threats.
His endless pursuit for industry knowledge and professional development make him extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the industry.
His dedication to the Security industry has honed this simple yet challenging vision- to offer an unmatched quality of service while regularly exceeding client safety expectations.
HAYDN SCHARBOURGH
Director- Executive Protection/Training
CSS is very pleased to welcome former SEAL Team member Hayden Scharbourgh to Canopy. Hayden brings his years of military experience to oversee the training, strategic planning and execution of close protection services.
Mr. Scharbourgh entered the SEAL Team as the youngest BUD/s student in his class. He served two deployments in the Middle East- operating in hostile environments and conducting dozens of combat missions. His service was marked by several accommodations for excellence.
In addition to his notable combat experience, Haydn regularly provided high-profile security for government officials in collaboration with other government agencies.
Lastly, Mr. Scharbourgh led training for local military personal in counter terrorism and tactical proficiency. To date, he continues to sharpen his skills by providing training to CSS staff.
Haydn personifies the high standards expected of all Canopy officers. His strong knowledge base and dynamic leadership perpetuate the CSS philosophy of “We Have You Covered.”
ANDREW HOFFMAN
Director of Marketing/Management
Andrew Hoffman is a former Marine that has served as a platoon radio operator, an infantry squad leader and a Critical Skills Operator with MARSOC. He has deployed multiple times to both the Middle East and Africa while holding numerous leadership positions.
As a trained tactician specializing in demolition and logistics; Andrew developed a strong work ethic and the ability to strategically think through complex issues. He has a diverse background stemming from numerous courses in demolition, leadership, surveillance, survival, and threat assessment.
After service for 8 years in the military, Andrew left to obtain his degree from Georgetown University. He then went on to gain his MBA from Pepperdine University. Since leaving the military, Andrew has also helped to work for unique companies developing their products and clientele while also focusing on helping veterans in their transition and career progression.
